How can you make money blogging ?

Google adsense - read my article why I chose adsense as my favorite money making option.
Don’t put all your eggs in one basket. I actually own 10 blogs and each of them makes some money by using Google adsense.
My blog's topics are health, cars, Judaism, kids, money, celebrities, misspelling, blogging, art, and I also own a blog written in Hebrew.
I don't use donation option for my blog because I don't want my readers to pay me for my writing - it is free of charge.
I think that when my blog will reach 10000 visitors a day I will be placing different advertising tools, but for now, I make money blogging using Google tools only.
I actually have a clickbank merchant ID but except for one entry I wrote about clickbank I haven't used clickbank as a money making option yet.


How often should you post? (blogging frequency)

In my opinion the best posting frequency is a post per day.
My rule states that if you love writing and you have an interesting blog post and you can't wait for the next morning to publish it, you could start posting even two or more posts per day.


Don't make mistakes that will cost you:

Duplicate content
Don't buy links / backlinks.
Don't place adsense ads on your blog if it doesn't contain any information or content.
Let your readers bookmark you posts - addthis / social-bookmarking script.
Don't forget to use internal links.
Submit your content to amazines or other free articles directory.
Your blog needs a feed - create an rss feed. (feedburner,feedcat)
Bad webpage design.
Don't forget the "about me" section.
Generate an xml sitemap.

Making money blogging takes time.

Focus on your goal. Keep writing interesting posts and the rest will come later. I started blogging 4 months ago, I don't speak good English, but I hired an English speaker to help me with my blogging. I have made a blog optimization and my blog gets 200 unique visitors per day and about 150$ per month from Google adsense. Not bad for a start...
